Kings acquire Canucks forward Michael Cammalleri, prospect to play for Kings

Los Angeles Kings have acquired forward Michael Cammalleri and a fourth-round pick in the NHL Entry Draft from Vancouver Canucks in exchange for defenseman Ben Lovejoy, forward Jordan Weal and a seventh-round selection, the team announced on Friday.

The Canucks will now have a conditional second-round draft pick in 2017.

Cammalleria has three goals and seven points in 26 games with Vancouver this season.

He has three assists in 13 games with Los Angeles.

The Kings, currently third in the Pacific Division with 25 points, host the Canucks for the third time in their 10-game home stand Thursday night.
